When I hear the word “lifestyle” in a newspaper, the first picture that comes to my mind is  the different ways of people’s lives especially the wealthy or rich. They often feature their life of luxury, wonderful places that they travel, and their houses.  Places of the poor were also featured in a documentary but not too prioritized like the rich.  No one is interested in the life of the poor.

In life values, we can’t measure who has a good value.  Because we have the poor who practice values such as honesty, trust, and respect. Based on my experience in handling the security, those who are highly educated are not as disciplined as the less educated people. They possess the discourteous attitude, bad mouthing, and difficult to follow and submit to the authority.  Riches is not a life value.

Have we ever think what will be our lifestyle? What lifestyle do you want for the rest of your life? We usually dream about the lifestyle of the rich, but we haven’t make a move to fulfill those dreams. You are responsible on what lifestyle you want to portray. You may be coming from a wealthy family, but you still responsible on how you’ll manage your life. You’re the author of your own lifestyle.

“It’s about having an active lifestyle, staying healthy, and making the right decisions. Life is about balance. Not everybody wants to run a marathon, but we could all start working out and being active, whether you walk to work or take an extra flight of stairs.” Apolo Ohno

“Achievement of your happiness is the only moral purpose of your life, and that happiness, not pain or mindless self-indulgence, is the proof of your moral integrity, since it is the proof and the result of your loyalty to the achievement of your values. Ayn Rand
